Where Smoke Meets the Strings
Founded in 1952 by "Blind" Willie Jefferson and his brothers, Down Home Blues BBQ started as a roadside shack where travelers could find a warm meal and a warmer tune. Willie played his hollow-body Gibson while the ribs sat in the pit, creating a rhythm that define Little Rock's culinary heritage.
Today, we carry that legacy forward. The pit still burns with the same hickory logs, and the stage still hosts the weary and the soulful. Every dish is a tribute to the blues, unapologetic, rich, and deeply human.
